I Was Lucky to Find This One........

Hubby & I went on a country road trip this weekend...got several good shots of different interest....but I did not think I was ever going to find a barn to shoot. It seems like as much farm land that we found we would have found a lot more barns. I guess they have been torn down or we were just in the wrong place.

I had to show you a close up of these windows on the side of the barn.....I think they are so neat!

I wish I could have gotten a shot of the front but as you can see behind the fence I had several greeters that did not like my presence! I did not want to get too close....if you know what I mean!
I don't know why they have an ADT Security sign in the yard....with 3 dogs that could eat you alive...I don't think anyone will break in!!

A Glorious Day It Is.........

Even though its a little cloudy out today it is a beautiful day...a little relief from the heat.

This is in front of the building where my mom lives....I don't know what this plant is called but they are beautiful and obviously survive in drought conditions.

This is my mom....hi mom!

She loves to cook...she is always cooking up a lot of food and then sharing it with her neighbors.....see her arm bandaged up.....a steam burn (2nd degree) when she was cooking the other day. Mom you must be more careful!
