Happy Labor Day!
Our Chicken Theme B-day Party!

 Birthday Party Mascot "Big Red"

We weren't too sure but we went ahead and started setting up outside for the party...ok a few clouds hovered over but the sun would peep through a little.
Taking a few before pics just in case!
We used mason jars for our beverages.....our daughter made the birthday banner, the adorable little stir sticks, & the chicken feed snacks......I am so glad I took these pics!

As we started to take the food out to the tables the bottom fell out......
The few of us...including me....that were outside at the time got soaked grabbing all we could to put under shelter.

The party moved inside!

By the time we finished eating the sun was out and it was beautiful the rest of the day.
Sitting hen cake I made for the party...and of course a snake, bugs and spiders had to be included....which were requested by the boys.

This was a surprise for the party.....
"Chicken Pops"
These "chicken" pops were so easy to make....these are not made from cake (cake pops) these were made from Oreo Cookies & Cream Cheese.
They were a big hit even with the adults!

Our main course was none other than Fried Chicken & Grilled Chicken......don't worry they were not from the boys pet chickens!

The boys had a great party and I think everyone had a great time!
(wonder what the theme will be next year)

God Bless
