Deletepoor little leaning barn...hope they will at least reuse some of that great old wood for something new when it does finally collapse!
ReplyDeleteHi Tanya....I was thinking the same thing...I wish I had the old lumber from it...I could use it for a new project I am about to start on.
Deleteoh, wow! 'hang on, sloopy!' :)
ReplyDeleteThis would have been a great title for this post! lol
DeleteI love Theresa's comment above. "Hang on Sloopy" is a perfect caption for this barn!! Great shot!
ReplyDeleteThanks....I do too!
ReplyDeleteOh, boy! Any day now . . .
ReplyDeleteHi Sonya, All it will take is a strong gust of wind!
DeleteHanging on by a thread. I hope someone does rescue the wood.
ReplyDeleteHi Grandma Barb...I would love to be the one to rescue it!
DeleteLooks like you could have pushed it down with one hand tied behind your back....I noticed you are from southwest Tn...I grew up in northeast Tn...still call it home even though I have lived longer in Indiana.
ReplyDeleteHi Rose...it looks like you could huff & puff and blow it down! I love TN...I have lived here all my life.
DeleteWow - it's surprising that it's still standing!
ReplyDeleteMe to Mari...thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteLinda, nice shot! Its amzing how sometimes these old barns stay up. I drove by an old farm just the other day with an entire house that looked almost like that, did i get out my camera, of course not! oh well next time.

Hi Tricia...thanks for stopping by....this photo was taken a while back and I will be going by there this coming weekend so I will see if it is still standing.
DeleteOh dear. That's a shame. I'm glad you found it and got the photo.
ReplyDeleteHi Amy, I really think there is an old truck or tractor inside...oh how I wish I knew!
DeleteSo sad...I'm seeing too many old barns that look like this. I'm with Grandma Barb - I hope someone salvages that awesome wood!
